In the course of the EuroGEOSS Project as a European approach to GEOSS we are conducting a meta-study of benefits and potential impacts of spatial data infrastructures to collect SDI-related benefit assessment research. We are looking for literature and studies which measure (not only socio-economic) benefits qualitatively or quantitatively in relation to Spatial Data Infrastructures, INSPIRE and/or GEOSS. We welcome studies from different approaches which illustrate the potential of SDIs and also the use standards compliant architectures in general.

This state-of-the-art Meta Study on SDI related benefit assessments will also be published on the EuroGEOSS website. It is envisaged that this site will evolve into a reviewed public domain database of all SDI/INSPIRE/GEOSS related benefit studies which you are welcome to use for your own scientific purposes.

This site may serve as a exchange platform between different research interest groups. Fell free to provide your publications, either by pasting your references in BibTEx format, by sending us references, or by entering information into this tool.
